These ponies deserve a mention of their own as there was a lot of concern about what would happen to them when Waterside Stud in Lancashire held their dispersal sale in September 2016.

Alison and Penny wanted to give the three older brood mares a permanent home where they could remain together for the rest of their lives.  The reason is purely sentimental as both have had a lot of fun with Waterside ponies; Alison with Duke, Alick, Jack and Jasmin and Penny with Diana, Joanne and Maria.  All the Waterside ponies we've known have had exceptional temperaments and consequently Waterside blood features heavily in our breeding programme.  Waterside June and Ebony have also joined us.

Waterside Eveline (born 1993), Waterside Samantha (born 1994) and Waterside Katy (born 1996) will remain with us and together as long as they are fit and healthy.

Samantha had a colt foal (Waterside Samson) at foot when she arrived with us.  Samson now lives near Brighton and we hear from his owner with regular updates.  Around Easter 2017 it became a little more obvious that Samantha may be in foal too and on 24 June 2017 gave birth to a filly foal to be named Highclose Hamble and known as Belle.

Highclose and Caphouse Dales ponies work closely together to look after and breed quality ponies with substance and type.  Highclose is situated on the edge of Burnley in East Lancashire, 1 mile from junction 10 of the M65 and Caphouse can be found at Flockton, near Wakefield not far from the M1 and M62.
