Owning one Dales Pony invariably leads to another.....those were the first words we heard when we spoke of buying our first Dales!  It was true.

Highclose is based in East Lancashire, on the edge of Burnley, easily accessed from the M65.

It is rare to see us showing these days, but we are passionate about these animals and aim to breed quality, useful, true to type ponies.  All our ponies are kept as naturally as possible and remain unshod if not ridden and are fed on home-produced hay or haylage.

Each pony has something unique to offer and each one is treasured.  We believe temperament as important as conformation when breeding a foal and if we sell a pony it will be well handled, wormed and depending on its age, vaccinated.
