Highclose Dutch Spotted Sheep

The farm is fully MV Accredited.

We've gone Spotty!

The Spotties!  A new breed to the UK, Highclose was one of the first farms in the UK to run Dutch Spotted Sheep.  We introduced a few gimmer lambs in 2016, imported from Holland and our first pedigree lambs were born in February and March 2018.  We have concentrated on breeding to increase our own flock and sold our first females in December 2021, all in-lamb.

Eden Drolo, a son of Eden Bentley is the main sire of lambs for 2022, used across Darkside daughters (Dennis Grandaughters), we are hoping Drolo, known as Eden here, adds his power and strength to compliment the ewes.

Highclose Duke Caboom (a son of Dennis, our original stock ram) has been used across some new females we introduced in 2021 for new blood.
