Highclose Lleyn Flock 02475

Lleyn sheep originate from the Llŷn peninsula, in Gwynedd, North West Wales. They are bred for prolificacy, good mothering, are quiet in nature with a high milk yield and excellent white wool. They are suited to both upland and lowland grazing.

Our Lleyn flock has been signficantly reduced in favour of our Dutch Spotted Sheep but have proven to be an excellent cross breed with the DSS, producing quality, flavoursome, lean meat and tight skinned lambs.

Breeding quality animals with substance and type.  The farm is located on the edge of Burnley in East Lancashire, 1 mile from Jn 10 of the M65.
