Maria is full sister to our Joanne and we owned her from six months of age.  Maria was shown inhand as a youngster with good results at the Royal Show and the Great Yorkshire Show.  She had a busy nature and we broke her at the age of three and showed her lightly as a four year old. She achieved some outstanding ridden results. 

Qualifying at her first attempt for the NPS Picton Novice Ridden Championship, she was placed 5th in the final in the Summer.  She completed her first year by winning the Intermediate Pony Championship at the DPS Performance Show in 2009, competing in Handy Pony, Ridden Showing, Show Jumping, Dressage and Working Hunter.  Not experienced in any of these disciplines, she surprised everyone.  She is an enthusiastic and fun pony who now lives in the High Peak in Derbyshire with Diana Critchlow and her family.
